Although Sheung Shui(上水) has encountered big change recently, but there are still several small shops which we should treasure, this restaurant selling herbal chicken soup is one of them.
The shop is small, you can tell at a glance, their menu is simple also, only one paper, Choumeizai orders herbal chicken soup round rice noodle(藥膳雞湯米線), their most famous dish.
The portion of the herbal chicken soup round rice noodle was so big, the smell of the Chinese herb and wine is very strong, which makes it so attractive. It has a lot of chicken, you will get full for sure.
Chicken soup is thick, tasty and good for your health, although you can choose the other kinds of noodles, Choumeizai still recommends round rice noodles which taste lighter, so you can enjoy the genuine taste of the Chinese herbs.
Chicken meat is tasty enough, but it is even more delicious if you dip their chilli soya sauce which is free. On the other hand, the restaurant will provide hotpot with herbal chicken soup at dinner time, Choumeizai really wants to try it if he can.
