Jiufen the City of Sadness
Jiufen (Chinese: 九份), literally means 'nine portions', is a seaside mountain area in Ruifang (瑞芳) District, New Taipei City (新北市), Taiwan. In the early years, Jiufen was prosperous because of gold mines, but it declined after the mines were exhausted.
