Alleppey (Malayalam: ആലപ്പുഴ; also Alappuzha) is an administrative district in the Indian State of Kerala, its backwaters are a network of brackish lagoons and lakes lying parallel to the Arabian Sea coast, the scenery is beautiful and exotic, a must go for every tourist who visits Kerala.
