Alleppey: Venice of India
Alleppey (Malayalam: ആലപ്പുഴ; also Alappuzha), is an administrative district in the Indian State of Kerala. Alleppey is a town with canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons, it was described as 'Venice of the East.' The Backwaters of Alleppey is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kerala.
