New year of yellow earth: Yanan
Yanan (Chinese: 延安) is located at the northwest of Shaanxi (陝西), China. Yanan will launch a big parade in every Lunar New Year, in order to show the various traditional dances in loess plateau in Northeast Shanxi.

New year of yellow earth: Ansai
Ansai (Chinese: 安塞) is a northwest district of Shaanxi (陝西), China. It has an average height of 1,200 meters above the sea level, typical loess landform. Ansai's cultural heritage includes typical Shanbei (陝北) folk art, Yaogu (腰鼓; waist drum) is amongst the most well known.
