The lake was created by a landslide dam and it is the source of the Parlung River (\u5e15\u9686\u85cf\u5e03).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-14-51-24.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-15-43-33.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Rakwa Tso covers an area of 27 square kilometers and has an elevation of 3,850 meters, it has long been a popular tourist destination in Tibet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-14-58-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-15-07-23.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Surrounded by magnificent snow-capped mountains and forests, Rakwa Tso is just by the Sichuan-Tibet Road, the only way from Sichuan to Tibet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-15-00-15.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-15-13-59.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Arza Gongla Glacier (\u963f\u624e\u8ca2\u62c9\u51b0\u5ddd) is standing to the north of Rakwa Tso. Every time when the ice melts, water flows into Rakwa Tso, keeping the lake abundant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-15-26-17.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/tibet_2018\/20180520-15-27-43.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Rakwa Tso is composed of three cascade-shaped lakes, which are divided into three areas.
