From the 9th to 13th centuries, Bagan was the capital of the Bagan Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-12-47.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-15-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are too many Buddhist temples on the Bagan Plain, some of which lack maintenance and look like ruins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-17-12.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-20-45.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lawkaoushaung Temple (\u101c\u1031\u102c\u1000\u1031\u102c\u103a\u1007\u1031\u102c\u1004\u103a) is an inconspicuous small Buddhist temple on the Bagan Plain. It looks very new and seems to have been renovated in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-21-15.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-21-30.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After walking through a narrow staircase, there is a viewing platform, many tourists are already waiting for the sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-20-55.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-23-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The architecture of Lawkaoushaung Temple has nothing special, but it is an ideal place for enjoying the sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-45-55.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-26-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The viewing platform is not very high, but the field of vision is unexpectedly wide, and you can see the scenery of most of the Bagan plain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-33-04.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-40-00.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The surrounding temples were baked into different degrees of red by the setting sun, and the ground was a bit misty, looking mysterious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-26-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/burma_2016\/20160321-19-44-08.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A little girl is guarding the entrance of the temple.
