Previously the Taiwan Railway stretched from north to south along Dongshi line, Dongfeng Bicycle GreenWay is the first bikeway revamped from the abandoned railways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-02-42.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-04-30.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dongfeng Bicycle GreenWay is connected to the HouFeng Bikeway (\u540e\u8c50\u9435\u99ac\u9053), forming a bicycle path with a total length of 19 kilometers. Each section has different scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-05-02.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-06-05.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The bicycle path was rebuilt from the old railway, so there are still abandoned train tracks and platforms, both have been transformed into planters and pavilions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-08-23.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-59-25.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many restaurants and shops along Dongfeng Bicycle GreenWay for tourists to rest or replenish.  Although there are some hawkers, there is no garbage on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-10-53.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-12-23.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many trees and flowers along the bikeway, forming a beautiful scroll with the farmland and mountains in the distance, the scenery is excellent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-12-24.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-17-29.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dongfeng Bicycle GreenWay is an enclosed bicycle lane, which will not be disturbed by vehicles, so it is very safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-13-23.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2014\/2014-03-30-11-23-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the way, there is a small food street that sells all kinds of Taiwanese snacks.
