Maolin is one of the least populated districts in Taiwan, with rich natural landscapes and aboriginal culture, it is a famous tourist destination in Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1049.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1053.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Longtou Mountain (\u9f8d\u982d\u5c71) is one of the famous scenic spots in Maolin, but unfortunately there is too much dust in the air, and the scenery is a bit blurry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1118.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1118-4.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Duona Suspension Bridge (\u591a\u7d0d\u9ad8\u540a\u6a4b) is the highest pedestrian suspension bridge in Southeast Asia, featuring amazing views of the Zhuokou River (\u6fc1\u53e3\u6eaa)and Maolin's mountainous landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1123-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1115.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Duona Suspension Bridge is 232 meters long and 103 meters tall, it is part of a trail that connects the top of a ridge-line, giving hikers 360 views of the river valley and surrounding landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1128-4.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1129-3.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge was completed during the Japanese Colonial Era (early 1900's) and was the main connection between the Rukai tribe living at Duona Village to the rest of Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1138-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130326-1129-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Maolin is located just to the south of the Central Mountain Range (\u4e2d\u592e\u5c71\u8108).
