Alishan is one of the five largest mountain ranges in Taiwan, it is about 135 kilometers long and has an average height of 2,500 meters. Sunrise is one of the five wonders in Alishan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0444.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0449.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To appreciate the sunrise of Alishan, you have to take the Alishan Forest Railway (\u963f\u91cc\u5c71\u68ee\u6797\u9435\u8def). Each train can only pick up 350 people, and the number of train tickets is limited, so be sure to buy tickets one day in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0452.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0500.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>About 25 minutes later, the train arrives at Chushan (\u795d\u5c71) station. Chushan station is 2451 meters above sea level. It is the highest railway station in Taiwan and the best place to watch the sunrise of Alishan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0534.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0534-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The viewing platform is not too big, and basically the passengers of the first train have already occupied all the best places to watch the sunrise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0535-3.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0539-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Central Weather Bureau of Taiwan, the time of today's sunrise is 6:12, but the clouds are already beautiful before sunrise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0551-3.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2013\/20130325-0600-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although it is April, the mountain is still cold in the morning.
