Mae Wang is mostly covered by mountains and forests, the height ranged from 400 meters to 1,909 metres, the scenery is beautiful and it is a good place for hiking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/chiangmai_2013\/20130609-1224-3.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/chiangmai_2013\/20130609-1519.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The average temperature in Chiang Mai throughout the year is about 20 degrees Celsius, which is much cooler than Bangkok, but it is still hot and humid in summer. Remember to bring water before you go hiking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/chiangmai_2013\/20130609-1527.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/chiangmai_2013\/20130609-1529.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many rice fields on the mountain, and farmers use water pumps to divert river water for irrigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/chiangmai_2013\/20130609-1607-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/chiangmai_2013\/20130609-1602.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Across Mae Wang, the ethnic Hill Tribe people are more present than in other parts of Thailand.
