Jingtong Railway Station (\u83c1\u6850\u8eca\u7ad9) is right next to Jingtong Old Street, both are popular tourist attraction of New Taipei City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162248.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162054.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a rack at the entrance of the old street, where tourists can hang bamboo tubes with their wishes written on them, praying for their wishes to come true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162637.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162612.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jingtong Railway Station is one of only four Japanese-style wooden stations in Taiwan. It was built in 1929 and was declared a historic site in 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162953.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-165400.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jingtong Railway Station is located on the Pingxi Line (\u5e73\u6eaa\u7dda) and is operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration (\u81fa\u7063\u9435\u8def\u7ba1\u7406\u5c40). The station served Jingtong for coal-mining purposes before 1975.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162715.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-162835.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The coal mine site is located opposite Jingtong Jingtong Railway Station. The mine was excavated in 1937 and was closed in 1975, and now there are only ruins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-163953.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-164040.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a Lover Bridge at the end of Jingtong Old Street. If you are interested, you can buckle a love lock here to show that you will be together forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-165008.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-164918.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is an exhibition hall next to Jingtong Railway Station, which exhibits the past history of Jingtong. The place is small but beautifully decorated, and it is worth visiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-164745.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-165225.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jingtong Old Street is actually quite short, and there are not many shops.
