Jinguashi is notable for its historic gold mines. After the minerals depleted, Jinguashi has been renovated to Gold Ecological Park (\u9ec3\u91d1\u535a\u7269\u5712), still attracts many visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-105209.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-105349.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Benshan No.5 Tunnel (\u672c\u5c71\u4e94\u5751) is located on the mountainside of Benshan (\u672c\u5c71), with an altitude of about 295 meters, it is the most well preserved mining tunnel in Benshan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-105511.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-105624.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Benshan No.5 Tunnel has been rebuilt into a museum. Before entering the tunnel, tourists must wear safety helmets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-105953.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-110037.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The machines and facilities used for gold mining in the past still remain, allowing visitors to experience how the miners work in the mining tunnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-110110.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/taiwan_2011\/1008-110125.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The name of Benshan No.5 Tunnel comes from the Benshan Vein, which is located in Jinguashi Mountain and extends over 2,000 meters from north to south.
