There is a shopping area named Osu Shopping District next to Osu Kannon, formed by several streets around the temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-10-51-03.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-10-58-50.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Those streets are: Osukannon Street (\u5927\u9808\u89b3\u97f3\u901a),Bansyoji Street (\u4e07\u677e\u5bfa\u901a), Nioumon Street (\u4ec1\u738b\u9580\u901a)\u3001Higashi Nioumon Street (\u6771\u4ec1\u738b\u9580\u901a), Osu Hon Dori Street (\u5927\u9808\u672c\u901a), Monzen-cho Street (\u9580\u524d\u753a\u9053), Akamon Street (\u8d64\u9580\u901a) and Shintenchi Street (\u65b0\u5929\u5730\u901a).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-44-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-14-20.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a canopy in the shopping area, so you can still go shopping even if it rains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-16-03.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-19-55.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the shops in Osu Shopping District are small shops, only a few are chain stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-40-22.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-40-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many restaurants in the shopping area, serving Nagoya's famous dish: Hitsumabushi (\u3072\u3064\u307e\u3076\u3057).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-52-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-55-16.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hitsumabushi is a traditional Nagoya's dish of white rice topped with grilled eel. It is usually served in a wooden bowl and a customer scoops out a quarter of the eel and rice into the empty bowl and eats four times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-59-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2015a\/20151021-11-59-57.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In each bowl, you can enjoy it in different ways with toppings and soup, which is also served  as well.
