Mount Cook is the highest mountain (3,724 meters) in New Zealand and well known for its scenery. Aoraki is the name of a person in the mythology of a South Island M\u0101ori tribe, which means \u2018Cloud Piercer\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/newzealand_2019\/20190909-04-52-25.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/newzealand_2019\/20190909-04-52-59.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a looping trail on the top of the hill, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/newzealand_2019\/20190909-04-52-01.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/newzealand_2019\/20190909-04-52-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The plant life in the majority of the park consists mostly of alpine plants, peculiar and beautiful.
