It is located in the historical Kham region of eastern Tibet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-14-05.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-09-55-12.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Along the way, you will see some huge patterns from time to time. If you look closely, you will find that these patterns are originally made of prayer flags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-09-44-27.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-13-39.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tagong Grassland is a vast expanse of meadow covering an area of 712.37 square kilometers and located at 3730 meters in altitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-13-13.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-18-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a small tourist area on the grassland with a parking lot, a market and a viewing platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-31-09.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-35-21.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to the parking lot is a gold memorial tower built to commemorate the tenth Panchen Lama. Behind the memorial tower is the Yala Snow Mountain (\u4e9e\u62c9\u96ea\u5c71).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-34-52.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/sichuan_2016\/20161027-10-27-29.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Yala Snow Mountain is located at the junction of Kangding, Daofu and Danba counties in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan, with an altitude of 5,884 meters.
