The construction of City Palace began in 1553, started by Maharana Udai Singh II (\u0909\u0926\u092f\u0938\u093f\u0902\u0939 \u0926\u094d\u0935\u093f\u0924\u0940\u092f).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-10-51.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-13-10.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The facade of the palace is huge and magnificent, but there is no decoration on the outer wall, and it looks a bit like an ordinary building at first glance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-16-37.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-17-16.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside the main entrance is the Royal Garden, next to the Royal Garden there is a place for parking elephants, similar to the carpark nowadays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-22-07.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-18-58.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to go in with a camera, you have to buy extra tickets for the camera, and one camera needs one ticket. Cameras without tickets cannot be brought in and must be stored in another room, very strict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-22-25.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-22-34.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The palace has now been converted into a museum, and no one has lived in it for a long time.  The interior decoration of the palace is extremely delicate, in contrast to the simple exterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-31-15.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170130-12-32-35.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a \u2018cornucopia\u2019 carved from a single block of marble on the top floor. It is said that the \u2018cornucopia\u2019 used to be full of silver coins.
