Jianshui has long been the historic center of the province, Choumeizai has tried a delicious and authentic Tofu in Jianshui Old Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-11-20.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-39-15.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so many Tofu restaurants in Jianshui Old Town, and they all look the same. The restaurant Choumeizai chooses is quite small but packed with locals, the environment and the food look clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-48-48.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-12-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jianshui Tofu, also known as Lin'an Tofu, is a spicy, barbecued form of tofu that is a famous traditional specialty in Jianshui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-14-27.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-26-49.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides tofu, you can also try another specialty of Jianshui, Caoya (\u8349\u82bd) soup. Caoya is a perennial herbaceous plant in the genus Typha, which is crunchy and sweet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-25-27.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-12-26-55.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several types of tofu served in the restaurant, the most impressive one is dried tofu.
