Ko Phi Phi Leh (\u0e40\u0e01\u0e32\u0e30\u0e1e\u0e35\u0e1e\u0e35\u0e40\u0e25), 6.6 square kilometres in area, is the second largest island of Phi Phi Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-115510.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-120134.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ko Phi Phi Leh consists of a ring of steep limestone hills surrounding two shallow bays, Maya Bay (\u0e2d\u0e48\u0e32\u0e27\u0e21\u0e32\u0e2b\u0e22\u0e32) and Loh Samah (\u0e2d\u0e48\u0e32\u0e27\u0e42\u0e25\u0e30\u0e2a\u0e30\u0e21\u0e30), while Maya Bay is the most best known one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-120247.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-120443.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A Hollywood movie named The Beach was shot in Maya Bay, controversy arose due to bulldozing and landscaping the natural beach setting of Ko Phi Phi Le to make it more \u2018paradise-like\u2019 by the film company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-120915.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-121137.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ko Phi Phi Leh was devastated by the Indian Ocean tsunami of December 2004, when nearly all of the island's infrastructure was destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-121416.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-121611.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Maya Bay is very beautiful, but the beach is packed with tourists, so Choumeizai doesn\u2019t want to swim, only stays at the edge of the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-121554.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-122728.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Loh Samah Bay is a small bay on the other side of Maya Bay on Koh Phi Phi Leh, it is not so crowded in comparison to Maya Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-124138.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-124229.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Loh Samah Bay is a popular spot for snorkeling, but the coral is dead, only some fishes swimming around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-130203.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/phuket_2012\/0510-132905.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/southeastasia\/travel_phuket_12_00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Phuket\u2018s fun and adventure 2012 (Chinese only)<\/a><\/h4>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phi Phi Islands (Thai: \u0e2b\u0e21\u0e39\u0e48\u0e40\u0e01\u0e32\u0e30\u0e1e\u0e35\u0e1e\u0e35) are an island group in Thailand between the large island of Phuket and the Straits of Malacca coast of Thailand.
