Jianshui has long been the historic center of the province, Choumeizai has tried a delicious and authentic breakfast in Jianshui Old Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-37-10.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-10-20-29.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mixian (\u7c73\u7dda) is a type of rice noodle from the Yunnan Province, you can also eat it in Jianshui Old Town. Caoya mixian is the best seller of this small restaurant, only 15 Renminbi for one big bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-53-44.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-46-12.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mixian here is served in an authentic Yunnan\u2019s style, the noodle and the broth are separate, mix both before you eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-42-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-47-26.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides Mixian, the restaurant also provides Juanfen (\u5377\u7c89), a type of flat rice noodle made from ordinary non-glutinous rice, tastes better than Mixian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-41-48.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/yunnan_2016\/20161206-08-45-16.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Caoya (\u8349\u82bd), literally means \u2018grass buds\u2019 in Chinese, is a perennial herbaceous plant in the genus Typha.
