The concave shape of a glacial cirque is open on the downhill side, while the cupped section is generally steep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/australia_2017\/20170502-09-46-21.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/australia_2017\/20170502-10-36-09.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park is part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.
