Besides its natural scenery, Nangongshan is also famous for its Buddhist mummy, or living Buddha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-32-57.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-29-09.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, most of the old architecture has long been devastated, the temples on the peak of Nangongshan are newly built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-13-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-24-40.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Buddhist mummies refer to the bodies of Buddhist monks that remain incorrupt, without any traces of deliberate mummification by another party. Master HongYi (\u5f18\u4e00\u5927\u5e2b) died 200 years ago, but his body still hasn\u2019t shown any sign of decay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-14-00.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-14-21.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Not too far from the peak there is a big stone named Conch Stone (\u6d77\u87ba\u77f3), it is said that if you can blow out the sound through this stone, the whole Nangongshan can hear you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-33-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150514-16-31-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From the peak of Nangongshan, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain.
