Shennongding (\u795e\u8fb2\u9802) is the highest part in Shennongjia, inside the scenic area of Shennongding there is a place named Jinhouling (\u91d1\u7334\u5dba),  a natural paradise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-07-55.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-10-59.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jinhouling has a cemented pathway, it takes around one hour to walk through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-07-32.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-22-41.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shennongjia occupies 3,253 square kilometers, while over 90% of its area is virgin forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-35-24.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-36-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jinhouling, literally meaning \u2018Mountain of Golden Monkey\u2019, is the habitat of Golden Monkey (\u91d1\u7d72\u7334).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-51-12.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-51-37.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Golden Monkeys inhabit the mountainous forests of Shennongjia at elevations of 1,500 to 3,400 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-38-45.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-53-22.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Choumeizai hasn\u2019t seen any Golden Monkey, he still enjoys the natural beauty in Jinhouling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-42-53.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-10-04-03.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The air quality of Jinhouling is excellent, you can even smell the sweetness while you are breathing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-56-43.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150513-09-56-33.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of its exceptional floral and faunal biodiversity and its protection of many rare, endangered, and endemic species,  Shennongjia was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
