The tomb was built in 1570, it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, the scenery of the garden is beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-07-12.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-08-21.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The tomb is placed in the centre of a 30-acre Persian-style garden with quadrilateral layout, it was the first of its kind in the South Asia region in such a scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-43-44.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-44-10.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The complex encompasses the main tomb of the Emperor Humayun, which houses the graves of Empress and consorts, as well as numerous other subsequent Mughals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-24-42.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-19-08.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Humayun was the second emperor of the Mughal Empire, who ruled over territory in what is now Afghanistan, Pakistan, Northern India, and Bangladesh from 1530 to 1540 and again from 1555 to 1556.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-42-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-42-56.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Such a Persian-style garden also named \u2018Paradise Garden\u2019, which is a form of garden of Old Iranian origin. The most traditional form is a rectangular garden split into four quarters with a pond in the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-44-41.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/india_2017\/20170128-15-55-24.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Not too far from the tomb of Humayun is the tomb complex of Isa Khan Niyazi, an Afghan noble in Sher Shah Suri's court of the Suri dynasty, who fought against the Mughals.
