They are home to a famous complex of Taoist (\u9053\u6559) temples associated with the god Xuanwu (\u7384\u6b66). Wudang Mountains have a lot of scenic spots, Longtou Incense (\u9f8d\u982d\u9999) is amongst the most impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-17-10-30.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-15-37-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nanyan Temple (\u5357\u5ca9\u5bab) is considered the most spectacular of Wudangshan's three famous temples, it is is known as the place where Xuanwu found Taoism and flew to heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-17-52.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-19-37.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nanyan Temple is very big and can be divided into two parts, the view of the south part is more splendid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-48-25.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-27-17.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many stone inscriptions in Nanyan Temple, some of them can date back to the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-26-06.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-30-01.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside Luangyi Palace (\u5169\u5100\u6bbf), there is a very special incense burner named Longtou Incense, \u2018Longtou\u2019 literally means \u2018dragonhead\u2019 in Chinese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-30-35.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/hubei_2015\/20150511-16-31-45.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There were countless people who lost their lives just to worship incense since Longtou Incense is located at the edge of the cliff.
