Rinpung Dzong was built in the 15th century, it has been a unity of monastery, fortress and government office since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-13-46-08.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-04-21.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Most places in Rinpung Dzong are allowed to take photos, except the indoor areas where you need to take off your shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-36-58.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-15-17.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dzong (Dzongkha: \u0f62\u0fab\u0f7c\u0f44) is a distinctive type of fortified monastery architecture found mainly in Bhutan and Tibet. The architecture is a complex of courtyards, temples, administrative offices, and monks' accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-22-19.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-31-39.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 15th century local people offered a crag in Paro to Lama Drung Drung Gyal to build a small temple which later became Rinpung Dzong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-16-57.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-24-15.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Rinpung Dzong is one of the popular attractions in Paro, but there are not so many tourists inside the dzong, so Choumeizai can take photos leisurely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-31-29.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bhutan_2018\/20180922-14-55-56.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The government of Bhutan requires all men and women to wear the traditional and national dresses if they work in a government office or school.
