Mount Xumi (\u9808\u5f4c\u5c71) in Guyuan (Chinese: \u56fa\u539f) City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (\u5be7\u590f\u56de\u65cf\u81ea\u6cbb\u5340), China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/ningxia_2013\/20130410-1257.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a museum next to the entrance, tourists can view the simulations of ancient Xumishan Grottoes built by computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction of Xumishan Grottoes began in the Northern Wei (\u5317\u9b4f) Dynasty (A.D. 368-534) and were put under periodic reconstruction during later dynasties until the Tang (\u5510) Dynasty (A.D. 618-906).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/ningxia_2013\/20130410-1408-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/ningxia_2013\/20130410-1409.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Xumishan Grottoes has been subdivided into 5 scenic sites, Xiangguo Temple is one of the most popular sites, you can see statues, wall paintings and inscribed stelae inside the cave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Xumishan Grottoes in Tang Dynasty reached the most prosperous period of grottoes with a large amount and large scale of grottoes in exquisite
