{"id":3748,"date":"2021-04-21T10:21:42","date_gmt":"2021-04-21T02:21:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/info.thetravel.me\/?p=3748"},"modified":"2021-04-21T10:22:03","modified_gmt":"2021-04-21T02:22:03","slug":"ice-lanterns-of-harbin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/info.thetravel.me\/en\/ice-lanterns-of-harbin\/","title":{"rendered":"Ice lanterns of Harbin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival (Chinese:\u54c8\u723e\u6ff1\u570b\u969b\u51b0\u96ea\u7bc0) is an annual winter festival that takes place with a theme in Harbin (\u54c8\u723e\u6ff1), Heilongjiang (\u9ed1\u9f8d\u6c5f), China, and now is the largest ice and snow festival in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122618-25-17.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122618-11-24.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Harbin Ice and Snow World (\u54c8\u723e\u6ff1\u51b0\u96ea\u5927\u4e16\u754c) is one of the important programme of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, since its birth in 1999, it has been expanding year by year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122617-07-10.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122617-00-58.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ice and Snow World is an area open in the afternoon and at night which features illuminated full size buildings made from blocks of thick ice taken directly from the Songhua River (\u677e\u82b1\u6c5f).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122616-56-53.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122618-17-39.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Officially, the festival starts on January 5 and lasts till late February. However, exhibits sometimes open earlier and stay longer, depending on the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122616-51-28.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122616-54-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Zhaolin Park (\u5146\u9e9f\u516c\u5712) is the first park in Harbin city, built in memory of the General Li Zhaolin (\u674e\u5146\u9e9f).
