The mansion was first built in 1914, covering an area of 36,000 square meters and the construction area of 27,600 square meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122414-07-54.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122414-06-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Marshal Zhang\u2019s Mansion served as the residence for both Commander Zhuang Zuolin (\u5f35\u4f5c\u9716) and his son, Young Marshal Zhang Xueliang (\u5f35\u5b78\u826f).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122414-12-43.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122414-28-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The tallest structure of Commander Zhang\u2019s Mansion is Da Qing Lou (\u5927\u9752\u6a13). This building was constructed in 1922 and served as the main office and private residence to both Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Xueliang and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122414-08-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122414-22-00.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Vastly different in style from the old-fashioned courtyards the families stayed in before, this structure is of neoclassical elegance.
