The palace has been converted to a museum after the collapse of the Qing empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" (\u5927\u653f\u6bbf) and Shiwang Pavilion (\u5341\u738b\u4ead) constitute a complete group of buildings in the East Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-04-54.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-05-05.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dazheng Hall (\u5927\u653f\u6bbf) built in the Nurhachi (\u52aa\u723e\u54c8\u8d64) period, which was founded in 1625 and is the place where the emperor held the \u2018Great Ceremony\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-06-22.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-15-38.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mukden Palace fully combines the integration of the architectural features of Han (\u6f22), Manchu and Mongolian ethnic minorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-08-52.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-10-57.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mukden Palace covers an area of around 60,000 square meters, with over 300 buildings and 20 courtyards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-18-34.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-21-18.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Qingning Palace (\u6e05\u5be7\u5bab) was built from 1627 to 1635, it was the living palace of Emperor Hong Taiji (\u7687\u592a\u6975).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-25-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-26-01.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Qing (\u6e05) dynasty replaced the Ming (\u660e) dynasty in 1644 in Beijing, the Mukden Palace lost its status as the official residence of the Qing emperor, it became a regional palace instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122410-28-25.webp\" since it was the living palace of Empress Dowager Zhaosheng (\u5b5d\u838a\u592a\u540e), she was the mother of the Shunzhi (\u9806\u6cbb) Emperor, and the grandmother of the Kangxi (\u5eb7\u7199)
