The Manchurian Imperial Palace (\u6eff\u5dde\u570b\u5e1d\u5bae) was designed as a miniature version of the Forbidden City in Beijing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-59-19.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-58-02.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1931, Japanese took control of the Northeast of China, then they created an officially independent state called Manchukuo (\u6eff\u5dde\u570b) which was in reality a puppet state of Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-37-17.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-37-30.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two little dolls in one of the shrines of the ancestral hall, which represents the earliest ancestor of Manchu (\u6eff\u65cf) ethnic group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-37-59.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-15-23.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to the main entrance of the Manchukuo Palace is the eastern royal garden, the architecture of the royal garden is in both Chinese and Japanese styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122311-02-39.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122311-04-53.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the buildings in the royal garden were destroyed, only the rockeries and fish pond left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122311-06-37.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122311-03-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8 August 1945, the Soviet Union declared war on the Empire of Japan, the Soviet Red Army invaded Manchuria from the north.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122311-02-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122311-00-28.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Japanese Empire surrendered unconditionally ending World War II and simultaneously Manchukuo ceased to exist.
