The palace was divided into an inner court and outer court, the inner court is the royal residence of Puyi (\u6ea5\u5100).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-45-54.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-47-34.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jixi Building (\u7ddd\u7199\u6a13) was the Russian-style private living quarters for the Emperor and his immediate family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-47-44.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-07-31.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jixi Building contained Puyi's bedroom, reading room, the family hall, Buddhist chapel and the separate quarters for Empress Wan Rong (\u5a49\u5bb9) and the other concubines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-50-36.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-49-11.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All decorations and furniture inside are European style, totally different from Puyi\u2019s previous residence, the Forbidden City (\u7d2b\u7981\u57ce) in Beijing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-55-35.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-02-52.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Empress Wan Rong was opium addicted, so there was a room tailored for her need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-53-43.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122309-58-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, Jixi Building was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, all furniture inside are remakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-02-43.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/notheeast_2013\/122310-02-08.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a room showing old photos about Puyi.
