Nigatsudo was in 752 and the current structure of Nigatsu-do was completed in 1669.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2013a\/2013-11-24-11-54-18.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2013a\/2013-11-24-11-55-34.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a little tea house in Nigatsudo, you can take some rest and enjoy the tea for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2013a\/2013-11-24-12-00-16.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2013a\/2013-11-24-12-03-25.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A ceremony named \u2018Omizutori (\u304a\u6c34\u53d6\u308a)\u2019 takes place in Nigatsudo every year,  which means taking sacred water, such traditional ceremony has been lasting for over 1,200 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2013a\/2013-11-24-12-09-49%20(1).webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2013a\/2013-11-24-11-56-51.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nigatsudo is located to the east of the Great Buddha Hall, on the hillside of Mount Wakakusa (\u82e5\u8349\u5c71).
