Dosan Seowon was listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-12-35-01.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-12-22-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dosan Seowon was built in 1574, four years after the death of Korean Confucian scholar Yi Hwang (\uc774\ud669) by some of his disciples and other Korean Confucian authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-22-14.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-15-49.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dosan Seowon has a small museum, which exhibits the cultural relics found in Dosan Seowon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-17-25.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-18-23.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sisadan (\uc2dc\uc0ac\ub2e8) is located at the south of Dosan Seowon, you can go there by a pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-28-19.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-28-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nakdonggang (\ub099\ub3d9\uac15) lies between Dosan Seowon and Sisadan, which is the longest river in South Korea, and passes through major cities such as Daegu and Busan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-29-33.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-30-17.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sisadan is a big mound built in the 18th century, to commemorate an imperial examination held in Sisadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-53-01.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-53-48.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is only an old monument on the top of Sisadan and nothing else, but it is an ideal lookout to enjoy the view of Nakdonggang and Dosan Seowon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-55-24.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/korea_2014\/2014-09-08-13-58-49.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/other_asia\/travel_korea_14_00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seoul &amp; Andong 2014 (Chinese only)<\/a><\/h4>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dosan Seowon (Korean: \ub3c4\uc0b0\uc11c\uc6d0) is located in Dosan-myeon (\ub3c4\uc0b0\uba74),  Andong-si (\uc548\ub3d9\uc2dc), Gyeongsangbuk-do (\uacbd\uc0c1\ubd81\ub3c4), South Korea.
