{"id":3216,"date":"2021-01-25T20:34:30","date_gmt":"2021-01-25T12:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/info.thetravel.me\/?p=3216"},"modified":"2021-01-31T19:31:05","modified_gmt":"2021-01-31T11:31:05","slug":"xingcheng-the-ancient-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/info.thetravel.me\/en\/xingcheng-the-ancient-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Xingcheng the ancient city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Xingcheng (Chinese: \u8208\u57ce) is located at the the southwest of Huludao (\u846b\u8606\u5cf6), Liaoning (\u907c\u5be7) province, China.The city of Xingcheng was founded in the third year of the Ming Dynasty (1428) and was rebuilt in the Qing (\u6e05) Dynasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian470.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian471.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The city of Xingcheng is a square, with a wall of around 8 meters and a circumference of 3,200 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian473.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian506.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The center of the city has a bell tower built in 1454, from the tower you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian504.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian500.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Xingcheng is deemed as one of the four ancient city pools that have been preserved in China so far, the other threes are: Xian (\u897f\u5b89), the ancient city of Jingzhou (\u834a\u5dde) and Pingyao (\u5e73\u9059).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian479.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/bejing_dalian_2009\/dalian511.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The barbicans in Xingcheng are still well preserved.
