Lembeh Strait is world-known for its extremely high density of rare and unusual marine life, in particular eel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/Indonesia_2016\/20160917-14-16-40.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/Indonesia_2016\/20160917-14-55-53.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>An eel is a ray-finned fish belonging to the order Anguilliformes which consists of about 800 species, most of the eels are predators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/Indonesia_2016\/20160917-14-17-00.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/Indonesia_2016\/20160918-11-30-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Eels are elongated fish, ranging in length from 5 centimeters in the one-jawed eel (Monognathus ahlstromi) to 4 meters in the slender giant moray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/Indonesia_2016\/20160918-11-29-50.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ufhIsK3G43c\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Eel possess no pelvic fins, and many species also lack pectoral fins.
