Amanohashidate has long been a popular tourist attraction, it is listed as one of Japan's three scenic views (\u65e5\u672c\u4e09\u666f).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1310-6.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1324.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To enjoy the beauty of Amanohashidate, the best way is cycling, the hotels or guesthouses around here usually provide bicycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1351-3.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1338-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Amanohashidate is a thin strip of land connecting two opposing sides of Miyazu Bay, the sand bar is 3.3 km long and covered with about 7,000 pine trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1325-5.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1349-5.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the middle of Amanohashidate is the Isoshimizu (\u78ef\u6e05\u6c34) fresh water well, the well has been cherished since the Heian period (\u5e73\u5b89\u6642\u4ee3), which was selected as one of \u2018100 best springs and rivers in Japan\u2019 in 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1330-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1331.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although there is no entrance fee for Amanohashidate, the facilities on the sandbar are still good, it has several clean toilets and pavilions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1325.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1339.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The western coast of Amanohashidate is a beautiful beach, but it is autumn now, so no one is swimming or sunbathing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1357.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1359-2.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The sandbar is flat and covered with the shades of the pine trees, which makes it an ideal tourist attraction for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/japan_2012a\/20121119-1405.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/other_asia\/travel_japan_12a_00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kansai's Autumn 2012 (Chinese only)<\/a><\/h4>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amanohashidate (Japanese: \u5929\u6a4b\u7acb) is a natural sandbar located in Miyazu Bay (\u5bae\u6d25\u7063) of northern Kyoto Prefecture (\u4eac\u90fd\u5e9c).
