The construction of Fuxi Temple began in Yuan (\u5143) Dynasty (14th century), but most of the structures nowadays were built in Qing (\u6e05) Dynasty (18th century).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/shaanxi_2010\/February%2027,%202010-178.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/shaanxi_2010\/February%2027,%202010-177.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuxi Temple (\u4f0f\u7fb2) is a culture hero in Chinese legend and mythology, credited with creating humanity and the invention of hunting, fishing and domestication. Fuxi was said to have been born Tianshui, so a temple was built here to commemorate this \u2018original human\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/shaanxi_2010\/February%2027,%202010-182.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/shaanxi_2010\/February%2027,%202010-199.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a big rock next to the main entrance of Fuxi Temple, it was said such rock was the remnant left by N\u00fcwa during the repair of the Pillar of Heaven.
