Temples in Kathmandu are must-go for tourists, but even wandering around the city is also a good program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-13-10-40-40.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-19-13-36-54.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Thamel (Nepali: \u0920\u092e\u0947\u0932) is located in Kathmandu, it has been the centre of the tourist industry for over four decades, there are many hotels, restaurants and bars here, even Choumeizai lived here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-19-13-37-07.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Thamel is also famous for its nightlife, it is crowded with tourists at night but lonely in the morning, as if there are two parallel universes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-19-17-25-46.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-19-14-51-12.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ason Bazar (\u0905\u0938\u0928 \u092c\u091c\u093e\u0930) is located at the border of Thamel, old buildings and old shops are everywhere, it is the true old area of Kathmandu, most of the people live here are locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-19-14-44-22.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img many hawkers here, but obviously their targets are locals only, no one is interested in Choumeizai the tourist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/nepal_2013\/2013-10-19-15-10-29.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Same as Indians, Nepalese are also religious people, so there are many temples around, all of them are colorful and exotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Perhaps most people who appear here are locals, Nepalese traditional attires are everywhere, the atmosphere is so exotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div when Choumezai going to the other countries, he always like to visit the old areas, since the old areas are still untainted from the \u2018pollution\u2019 of tourism, you can know more about the local
