However, such a picturesque place has been stained by \u2018Gongde\u2019 (Chinese: \u529f\u5fb7, Virtuous achievement), something which is supposed to be good and beautiful, Choumeizai feels so sad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7655.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7728.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside the main entrance of an old big mansion where most tourists like to visit, there is a little girl who is only around 5 to 6 years old, next to her stands a paper signage on which her miserable handicapped life is written, the gist: asking for donations.<br>The little girl rolls her eyes and twists her face painfully, Choumeizai is moved and throws 5 Renminbi in the donation box.<br>While Choumeizai is about to leave, an old woman gets close to the little girl, the little girl becomes normal in a sudden and talks with the old woman subtly, then she resumes to a \u2018handicapped\u2019 girl again.<br>Choumeizai now realises the true meaning of \u2018Gongde\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7697.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Not too far from the girl, there is an old man who claims that he has got glaucoma, but his \u2018performance\u2019 is not as good as the little girl, the donation he got is less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7642.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Someone has become an expert, he doesn\u2019t even show his face but an identity card for disabled instead, beneath it is a \u2018Gongde box\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7785.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When Choumeizai is walking along the shopping street, there is a little boy watching the shop for the adults, Choumeizai tries to take a photo of him, but he is alerted and disappears in a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7796.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Choumeizai wanders around casually, then goes inside a broken old temple.<br>Suddenly, the little boy appears, he gibbers innocently, Choumeizai can hear the words  \u20185 dollars\u2019 and \u2018Gongde\u2019.<br>Stunned by what he has heard, Choumeizai then finds that the boy has become \u2018handicapped\u2019, showing the same face as the little girl\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7800.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Choumeizai leaves with sigh, he doesn\u2019t expect that \u2018Gongde\u2019 can be so painful and sad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/guangxi_2010\/20100404-IMG_7752.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/china_taiwan\/travel_guangxi_10_00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hezhou &amp; Wuzhou 2010 (Chinese only)<\/a><\/h4>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Huangyao (Chinese: \u9ec4\u59da) is a beautiful old town which is located in Guangxi, China.
