On the 7th of November 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/spain_2019\/20190424-01-03-52.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/spain_2019\/20190424-01-07-06.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The admission doesn\u2019t include an audio guide, you need to pay extra if you want one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/spain_2019\/20190423-23-51-50.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/spain_2019\/20190424-00-17-02.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The interior of Sagrada Fam\u00edlia is different from the other basilicas, it looks quite futuristic which reminds me of a spaceship's cabin in a sci-fi film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/spain_2019\/20190424-00-22-18.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetravel.me\/images-webp\/spain_2019\/20190424-00-17-39.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The interior columns are a unique Gaud\u00ed design.
