The Yao people (Chinese: 瑤族) is an ethnic minority of Asia which has long history. In China most of the Yao people reside in Guangxi (廣西), Choumeizai has married one Yao girl, of course it is faked.
The Ping An Village (平安寨) of Longji Rice Town (Chinese: 龍脊鎮) has become a tourist attraction due to rice terraces, there are many restaurants and guesthouses, quite noisy.
Most of the tourists who come here will watch the traditional show of Yao people, the first program is singing folk songs, most of the singers are grannies, such tradition may disappear in 10 years.
